Tuesday, October 10 is a major night of original entertainment and hip hop culture for Black Entertainment Television. In addition to the premiere of the highly anticipated 2017 BET Hip Hop Awards, “TALES” will return for season two after the event.

This season of “TALES” will feature “99 Problems” by Jay Z, “You Got Me” by The Roots ft. Erykah Badu and “All I Need” by Method Man ft. Mary J. Blige.

Jim Jones, Demetrius Shipp Jr., Peyton Alex Smith, Jessica Parker Kennedy, Rhyon Nicole Brown, Kyndall Ferguson, Sean Baker and more will star in the celebrity-packed episodes.

The season premiere will feature Fetty Wap’s smash “Trap Queen” starring Lance Gross and Michelle Mitchenor.

TALES,” a juicy scripted anthology series of “song stories” that combines classic and current hip-hop songs into captivating visual narratives from the lyrics of some of hip-hop’s greatest hits. Earlier this year for it’s series premiere, recreates NWA’s “F*ck the Police,”which focused on a controversial police shooting of a young boy that flips the biases and stereotypes of today’s society. The lyrics of other rap classics like Notorious B.I.G.’s “I Got A Story to Tell” and Meek Mill’s “Cold Hearted.”
