Nicki Minaj will not be taking the stand in her brother, Jelani Maraj’s, child rape case.
There were reports that the Queens rapper will be defending her brother in trial, claiming that the accuser’s mother attempted to extort her for millions. However, TMZ learned that was a lie. Nicki will not be connected to this case in any way despite what Maraj’s legal team stating that she was on the witness list.
Maraj was accused of raping his then 11-year-old stepdaughter. On Monday, the girl’s 10-year-old brother took the stand at Nassau County Supreme Court as a witness of the alleged rape, and said Maraj threatened him in exchange for silence.
