“‘Ye’s kind of got me in a mode of understanding just your ability to multitask and work on different things,” he said. “Because of his ability to work on multiple projects, I’ve been actively working on the project with Childish, I’m gonna do a seven-track with ‘Ye.”

Working diligently, the projects seem to be coming along considering the rapper says he has already completed about “30 percent on everything.” Rosenberg seemed to be intrigued by these developments as he asked about a timeline the West collaboration.

Keeping the details vague, “I’m supposed to be working on it in July,” said Chance. Eager for details Rosenberg then ask about the Gambino project. Wanting to keep the project quiet, the rapper hesitantly responds. “I’ll tell you, we got six songs, that are all fire. But I think the album’s gonna be more than like, more than 14 songs. I think it’ s gonna be, like, a full thing.

Chance is debating whether his next album will be for profit. Citing he wants to get on his “mixtape shit.” Over the years he developed a reputation for quality tapes like Coloring Book.
