2019 is looking like a promising year already for sneaker releases, and of course Nike would be the one to start us off with something nice by decking out its fan-favorite Air Max 97 in a vibrant flex for the new year.
The colorway for this iteration of the classic silhouette is being billed as a “Thunder Grey” and “Lime Blast” mixed, balanced out with a black ostrich leather mudguard and diagonal stripe detailing that most likely is 3M reflective. Other cool specs on this release include a cross-colored insole that utilizes the two main hues, reflective upper and a clear Air unit midsole that gives the silhouette its signature touch. Overall, this is definitely one release to look forward to after the ball drops in a few weeks. Thankfully the time in-between now and the release date for these gives you a whole month and some change to find a cool fit to rock these with. Given the shoe’s multi-textured presentation, that shouldn’t be a problem at all if you have the steez to pull these off.
