We’re sure Burberry is looking to move forward from the controversy of London Fashion Week, and dropping fly apparel and footwear like this new RS5 model is definitely a fashionable step in the right direction.

The high-top construction falls in line somewhere between a sneakerboot and the Air Jordan 9, complete with a paneled upper with hits of premium mesh, neoprene and nubuck throughout. The shoe features a cupsole spliced with an athletic tread, in addition to the brand’s signature Monogram motif and the updated logo on the ankle in red. The silhouette as a whole is decked out in a brown and mustard yellow color combo, with black included in the mix as well on the toe cap, inner lining and semi-translucent midsole. Built for hiking but fly enough to rock on a runway, as some of you may have peeped during Riccardo Tisci’s debut Burberry show last year, these are the way to go if you’re looking to add an alternate option to your collection that’ll balance out all those checks and stripes a bit.
