Kanye’s first four albums were extremely raw, the artist claiming he wrote nothing down: “it was from the head straight to the booth.” “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” though, he labored at with his pen.
Why? Kanye had a simple, but extremely deep answer to this: “I put myself in the zone where my life and success was dependent on this album…I can write something that can make someone that hates me the most really respect or love the song.”
