Legendary gangsta, Ice-T, previously spoke his mind during Sway in the Morning on Shade 45.

Ice talked about his definition of a MC and rapper and the difference between the two. Ice explained that, back in the day, MC’s were the people who could “move the crowd,” and dropped KRS-One as an example, while the rappers just rhymed about the MC and “how great the MC was.”

Ice T emphasizes that you have to “put your time in, know your history” and makes an analogy comparing Hip Hop to Jordan’s.
