On May 2nd, Kanye West tweeted this, which has since been deleted. The 18 character tweet sent the industry into a frenzy, as we frantically tried to figure out if this was finally the official release date for his album, which, at the time, only lived through the few rumors that made their way to syndicated hip-hop sites.
