Melky Cabrera
Cabrera is one of the best in the game right now. He was the 2012 All-Star Game MVP, helped the Yankees win a World Series in 2009, and he has a .284 batting average. This off season he signed a two year contract with the Toronto Blue Jays, worth $16 million. He is hard working player, who has become a fan favorite.
Last August, it was announced that Cabrera was found to have high levels of testosterone, which signifies performance enhancing drug use. He was suspended 50 games, without pay, leaving San Francisco without one of its most dynamic offensive weapons. It caught a lot of fans off guard, as it seemed that the super talented athlete was one of the cleaner performers. Unfortunately, we were all fooled. He is back to playing, hopefully he doesn’t make the same mistake twice.
