Manny Ramirez
Manny Ramirez had a personality that made it hard to hate him. Where ever he went he was a fan favorite, just ask fans in: Boston, Los Angles, and Cleveland. His production on the field also helped to endear him in the hearts of baseball faithful. He was a 12 time All-Star, 2 time World Series Champion, had 555 career home runs and a total of 2,574 hits. He was a beast in every sense of the word.
Unfortunately, in 2009, Ramirez was suspended 50 games for testing positive for banned substances. It was a dark time for the fun loving slugger. Fans were highly upset that one of their favorite, and usually drama free, players was caught cheating.
