While filming 8 Mile, Eminem met 50 Cent. After hearing his mixtape Guess Who’s Back?, Em took the mixtape to Dr. Dre and the rest is history. 50 Cent was one of the first rappers to sign with Shady Records. His first radio hit “Wanksta” was featured on the soundtrack for 8 Mile.
