5. Captain America: The Winter Soldier

Captain America doesn’t have a laser shooting robotic suit, the power of lightening, or an angry green 15-foot alternate personality. Equipped with only a steel-alloy shield and physique at the peak of human potential, Captain America has held his own amongst his Avenger counterparts. While the first film in his series was mediocre at best, the sequel looks to eclipse it with more allies, a more intense story, and tons more action. This film will debut Anthony Mackie (Notorious, 8 Mile) as Falcon, the first mainstream African American comic book superhero and Captain America’s long time comrade. Scarlett Johansson will reprise her role as the Black Widow, Samuel L. Jackson will return as Nick Fury and Sebastien Stan as Captain America’s sidekick-turned-nemsis, Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier.
