The 2012 reboot of the Spider-Man series was much needed following the flop that was Spider-Man 3. Andrew Garfield embodied the essence of Peter Parker and Spider-Man in a way that Tobey Maguire never fully achieved. Now with the success of the first film of the new series, the web-slinger is back! Spidey will take on three villains in this installment — Jamie Foxx as Electro, Paul Giamatti as The Rhino, and Dane DeHaan as Peter’s bestfriend-turned-enemy Harry Osborn aka The Green Goblin. Marc Webb (ironic!) will return as the director, and the film is slated for a Spring release.
