The Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon was shocked to learn of the shooting on May 24 in the Jewish Museum of Brussels, which reportedly left two Israelis and one French citizen dead. Belgian authorities are looking for the gunmen, who according to media reports, opened fire shooting indiscriminately in the museum. It has been reported that an AK-47 assault rifle was used to carry out the shooting. The Secretary-General said he “trusts that Belgian authorities will do everything possible to bring the perpetrator or perpetrators of this crime to justice swiftly”.
