Handsome and frugal
Yesterday, Migos–Atlanta’s trap extraordinaires–uploaded a picture of themselves alongside their Quality Control Music labelmate OG Maco and a huge check for the amount of $1,000 which they donated to their old high school, Booker T. Washington High School in Atlanta. The internet exploded with criticism, pointing out the fact that–among several other things–Quavo, Takeoff and Offset, the three aMigos, showed up in undoubtedly three times that amount in jewelry. Naturally, Twitter had a field day.
While some postulate that something is better than nothing, many admit that this was a donation that probably should’ve been made in private, or at least in a less subtle manner than the three rappers showing up dressed for a music video. Migos, as shown below, defended themselves while they were at it.
