8 months after suffering a gruesome leg injury, PG 13 made his return to the hardwood floor to help push his Pacers land the 8th seed in the NBA Playoffs
Street Family‘s OG Fabolous said it best, “tough times don’t last but tough people do”. The symbolic expression can best describe the resilience of Indiana Pacers forward Paul George.
George broke his leg during a Team USA scrimmage in front of a packed crowd in Las Vegas, which resulted in the event ending early in efforts to avoid any potential injuries from other hoopers. The two time NBA All Star has decided to be apart of the action in the pursuit of landing the 8th and final spot in the Eastern Conference playoff push. Currently, his Pacers are 34-43 and just 1 game back from taking over the 8th seed from the Boston Celtics. As Indiana continued to shock everyone with their impressive play without their superstar forward, Paul decided it was time to try his new number #13 out on the court and to help lead his squad to a win over the Miami Heat. He was able to do both as they defeated the Heat 112-89. George came off the bench to a standing ovation as he was able to hit his first shot and continue to go for 13 points in 15 minutes of action.
