After almost a year of allegations from dozens of women, prosecutors in Montgomery County, Pensylvania have decided to go forward and press charges against comedian and entertainment mogul Bill Cosby with aggrevated indecent assault from an incident in 2004. The charge is a felony.
The Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office and the Cheltenham Township Police Department have announced that they will be holding a news conference this morning to share this information with the public.
The 78 year old Cosby has been accused by over 40 of sexually assaulting them after drugging them in the past four decades. Cosby filed a countersuit against seven of the women earlier this month, including Black supoermodel Beverly Johnson, who accused the comedian of sexual misconduct in December of 2014.
