Kim Kardashian‘s announcement that Kanye West‘s G.O.O.D. Friday series was returning was clearly a tad premature. Outside of the day of her “#EveryFriday” tweet, on which ‘Ye dropped his hotly-anticipated collaboration with Kendrick Lamar, “No More Parties in L.A.,” Yeezy has been musically mum on Fridays, opting instead to tweet incessantly about studio sessions, ex-girlfriends and new album titles. Here’s a bit of a silver lining.
As January turns into February next week, all eyes are on February 11, the day Kanye is expected to drop his 7th LP, WAVES, featuring Ty Dolla $ign, Post Malone, Kendrick & likely more. A$AP Mob‘s Young Lord posted a picture to his Instagram late last night of Kanye in the studio with Andre 3000 and Kid Cudi, which naturally sent all of social media into a frenzy.
If there’s a collaboration featuring these three guys on the way in any shape or form, Yeezy just might’ve outdone himself. Not to mention, he was also spotted in the studio with 2 Chainz and Kirk Franklin. Things are getting interesting.
