Listen to Two New Bas Cuts, “Matches” and “Clouds Never Get Old”

Bas has steadily built his reputation, from J. Cole‘s introspective to a burgeoning star in his own right, thanks in large part to Last Winter, his 2014 album that sported cuts like “Made Bail” and “Charles de Gaulle to JFK.” A few years and tours later, the Queens native is ready to drop a new project, his second album under Dreamville’s Interscope Records imprint, Too High to Riot, which will feature the already released, J. Cole-featured “Night Job.”

The album arrives a week from today, and in commemoration of that, Bas has decided to drop two brand new cuts, “Clouds Never Get Old,” and “Matches.” You’ll get the best of both Bassys with these new sounds, as he gets pensive and moody with the tranquil “Matches,” and then lets the bars snowball on “Clouds Never Get Old.” Listen above and below.
