Last night [Thursday, June 9], President Barack Obama joined Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, not wasting any time before they got into their signature sketch slow jamming the news.

And they did not disappoint. From Jimmy’s new nicknames for the President, like ‘Bar-eezus’ and ‘Prez Dispenser,’ to Obama’s burn on Fallon that was not covered by “Obamacare,” the two had a natural flow and killer jokes. And they threw an “OPP” joke in there, referring to President Obama’s trade agreement, the Trans-Pacific Partnership, or TPP.

Jimmy slow jammed the news with the President before, back in 2012 when Jimmy was still on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. Hopefully President Obama will return in the future to slow jam the news now that he no longer has to run the free world all the time.

And of course, President Obama ended the segment with not a single mic drop, but a double mic drop, going out like a boss.

This performance was followed by an interview with the Mr. Obama, as well as Jimmy and the President writing some thank you notes.
