Shawn Rude’s musical journey is not of the average. The artist was born in San Diego, and has been fully immersed in the music scene ever since he was an adolescent. Even though he is self-taught in every sense of the word, he learned the art from his father, who also came from a musical background. He would mindlessly dabble into different beats and make his own music, not knowing what was ahead of him. Little did he know that his newfound passion would blossom into something much larger than he could ever imagine.
Since the release of his single “Got Damn”, the artist is overwhelmed by the positive feedback. Anytime he performs the song, he is so amped when he sees the crowd going crazy. More than anything, he is in this for his fans, as he does whatever he can to continue connecting with them musically. “People like my music, and that’s why I do what I do,” said Shawn Rude. “I have so many friends, family and fans that support me, and this keeps me going. That’s why I’m always keeping things fresh, and trying new things.” Shawn Rude is the artist that everyone loves being around, which also makes him so easily likable.
Rude is working toward his next project, called “The Rude Awakening”. With a goal of growing his fanbase more than ever, he’s always switching things up. It’s all about giving the crowd what they really want, and Rude accomplishes this so effortlessly and smartly.
