The saga continues with Kanye West and Drake’s beef.
In this newest chapter of idols turned rivals, Kanye tweeted out an apology to Drake. Ye spent a majority of last week in his hometown of Chicago. The 41-year-old creative stopped by Chicago’s 107.5 WGCI radio station to address a number of incidents of the past four months. One of those incidents was his involvement in the Pusha T and Drake beef. “We all got love for Drake,” said Ye. “And you know, we’ll reconcile that one day because we got to because we got work to do.”
One can assume that Yeezy’s most recent series of tweets are his first steps of mending his relationship with Drizzy. The apology starts by wishing the Toronto native his family and crew well as they continue the Drake and Three Migos tour. Then he addresses
“Let me start by apologizing for stepping on your release date in the first place,” said Ye. Kanye produced 5 GOOD Music releases in June, which interfered with Drake’s album roll out.
He then continues. “I did not have any conversations about your child with Pusha. I don’t play with the idea of people’s children after i spoke to Wiz a few years earlier.”
The apology follows the release of a new French Montana snippet featuring the 6 God, where he disses Ye. On the snippet, Drake states, “I told her don’t wear 350 ’round me.” 350s are Kanye’s line of Yeezy Adidas Sneakers. Prior to the jabs, Drake was spotted decked out in Adidas gear. His apparel hinted in at a potential Adidas deal. Currently, Drake prefers “checks over stripes.”
Kanye ended by saying he plans to attend the 6 God’s show in the upcoming week. Let’s see if Ye’s apology will be well receive by OVO’s head honcho. Based on Drizzy’s recent diss, it does not look so hopeful.
Sending good energy and love to Drake and family and crew???

Let me start by apologizing for stepping on your release date in the first place … We were building a bond and working on music together including squashing the issues with Cudi at our office.

When I put the dates up I was a bit ramped up doing 25 tweets a day TMZ happened shortly after … I have to hop on the plane now… will type more when I land

plane taxiing for take off… because we spoke about doing Lift Yourself together I should have given you the opportunity for us to do this together before I released it

since we were building as friends and brothers I should have spoken to Pusha about the Quentin Miller bar. There should have been no songs with my involvement that had any negative energy towards you

I never listened to either diss track that followed but I did hear quotes from both songs after they were released

I did not have any conversations about your child with Pusha. I don’t play with the idea of people’s children after I spoke to Wiz a few years earlier.

I understand Pusha’s issues as a man if someone mentions your fiancé men go mask off. I’ve done the same myself at times. I love you and I love Pusha and we all have an admiration for each other’s craft.
