Cardi B has once again teamed up with Reebok for another modernized pair of sneakers. On Thursday, the mega footwear corporation released a 59-second ad featuring the “Please Me” rapper in a runway show taking place on a customer’s doorstep.

The ad is shown through the lens of a home owner’s security camera and also involves models rocking Cardi B face masks. The runway show is a delivery attempt for Reebok’s new Zig Kinetica shoe, which can be seen in the hands of Cardi B as she is seen winding and twerk down the runway. While the face masks, security cam and cryptic appearance of Cardi may seem off concept, the creative direction is still revealing.


Slated with the hashtag, #ZigTheRunway, the ad was created to be in sync with the fashion month of February.

In a statement, shared on Rolling Stone, Cardi B sees the product to be right on with her ”do me” mentality.


“Zig the Runway is about being unexpected and unapologetic about your style,” Cardi said. “I always do me and keep people guessing and that’s what we’re showing off in this video. [The] Reebok Zig Kinetica isn’t like any other shoe that’s come before it and this fashion show is like nothing that has come before it. We’re breaking the mold and blazing our own trail — that’s what Reebok is about.”

This isn’t the first time Cardi has teamed up with Reebok. Cardi B first partnered with the sneaker brand in November 2018 for the reissuing of their signature Aztrek shoe.


She also starred in a buzzing nail parlor commercial for their Club C 85 Vintage kicks, which resulted in a shoe contest featuring Alexa for a free crystal-coated pair.
