An elderly man was shoved to the ground by Buffalo police on Thursday evening.

The protester suffered a head injury after falling from a shove by Buffalo Police who were sweeping the area. The small remaining group that was reportedly out after the 8 pm curfew.

As they moved toward the demonstrators and the man fell backward striking his head on the concrete.

Police can be seen calling for emergency medical attention, which was eventually administered to the victim.

The act speaks directly to the main point of the protest: police brutality. As the cameras roll worldwide, law enforcement has shown that its procedures are increasingly aggressive.

George Floyd was killed by a knee to the neck by former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin. Now the world is determined to enact change. Protests have roiled daily throughout the entire country reminding the country daily that this will not stop until change comes.

Recently, all four officers were charged with the death of George Floyd. Derek Chauvin’s charges were also upgraded to second-degree murder.

“During that skirmish involving protestors, one person was injured when he tripped & fell,” the Buffalo PD said in a statement.

Two officers involved in the incident were suspended. This came after the reviewal of the video.
