Frequent Pop Smoke collaborator, and fellow New York drill rapper, Fivio Foreign, recently sat down with VladTV for an interview. Fivio shared his thoughts about the murder of Pop Smoke and the arrests that happened back in July.
“It hurt, bro. I ain’t gon’ lie. That shit hurt,” he said, regarding the death of Pop Smoke. When asked about the arrest of Pop’s murderers, Fivio said that “I was tight. I’m mad they got locked up.” According to Fivio he wishes Pop’s killers were still on the street.
Why Fivio would still want his friend’s killers on the street, we leave that for your own interpretation. The interview goes to another question right after.
In July, five people were arrested for Pop Smoke’s murder that took place back in February. Two of the suspects in the murder are 18-year-old Keandre Rogers and 19-year-old Corey Walker. The names of the two juveniles have not been released.
If convicted, Rogers and Walker face life in prison without parole and possibly the death penalty. The juvenile suspects will be tried in juvenile court on murder and robbery charges.
