Master P is once again expanding his business portfolio. The Hip-Hop legend is connecting with NBA All-Star and Golden State Warriors legend Baron Davis to lead an investment group that will purchase Reebok from Adidas.
According to Forbes, the purchase of the brand could hover around $2.4 billion.
“These companies have been benefiting off us, this could be history for this company going Black-owned,” Master P said to ESPN. “Imagine if Michael Jordan owned Reebok? That’s what I’m talking about making history.”
Adidas purchased Reebok in 2005, putting the brand back on the market after dropping $3.8 billion to acquire it.
