In collaboration with The Ten Co. and popular cannabis brand Cookies, Leray, 25, announced the debut strain with at the historic Cookies Melrose dispensary in Los Angeles, California, on Saturday, January 14. At the event, the Trendsetter creator took photos with fans and offered guests 3.5g 8ths and a 1.5G joint.

The arrival of Pink Zushi has been anticipated by the rising star, who has been promoting the upcoming launch for months. Leray previewed the strain during a pop-up event at last year’s Art Basel in Miami.

On the East Coast, Pink Zushi also became available in New York City. Antidote Soho and Queens Cannabis Clubs, two of the more popular cannabis hubs in NY, were seen reposted on the Pink Zushi Instagram account along with numerous people who had clearly picked up some of that new fire.

In other news, Coi Leray is currently riding the wave of viral popularity behind her latest single, “Wasted.” Leray’s other single, “Players,” is currently #98 on Billboard Hot 100. Both “Wasted” and “Players” are available on all streaming platforms.

The multi-platinum superstar was recently given her “flowers” for her accomplishments by legendary recording artist/actor Busta Rhymes.
