Qualifying rounds will take place in cities such as Shanghai, Los Angeles, New York, and Paris, among others, throughout the summer. The final 20 players will converge in Paris to compete in a play-in for a spot in the Finals bracket. From there, the tournament will follow an advance-or-knockout format, ultimately crowning one male and one female winner. The champions will earn the coveted title of The One and secure a year-long partnership with Jordan Brand.

This tournament echoes the origins of the Jumpman logo, inspired by Michael Jordan’s legendary 1v1 backyard battles with his brother Larry. It was through his relentless pursuit of victory, even in the face of frequent defeats, that Jordan forged a legacy of greatness that transformed basketball.

The ‘Our Turn’ tournament is part of Jordan Brand’s Summer of Basketball Culture, which aims to remind all hoopers of the dedication required for greatness. The finals of The One will commence on July 26 and will be streamed live on Twitch from District 23. More details will be available on @Jumpman23.
