This past January, Kanye West went on a Twitter rant of sorts, with his crosshairs aimed squarely on Wiz Khalifa after he incorrectly assumed that the Pittsburgh rapper made a slight at his wife Kim Kardashian. In his tirade, West hit below the below when he made a comment in regards to Khalifa’s son Sebastian, insinuating that Wiz would not have a son if he had not broken up with Amber Rose. As reckless as that was, West did publicly apologize for his remarks.

Today, Khalifa was a guest on The Breakfast Club, and when asked about the incident, he shared that the two men did speak on the phone, revealing that West did formally apologize to him. With that said, Wiz seemingly still harbors some animosity because he feels that West’s statements in the media did not coincide with the statements made in their private conversation.

“I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s squashed though, because like when you see him talk about it, it doesn’t add up to what he said to me on the phone.”

When asked if you he likes Kanye West, Khalifa shrugged and admitted that it is difficult for him to like someone who would make such statements about is family. Watch the clip below.
