A simple phrase turned life advice, turned club chant, No New Friends features the duo of MMG and YMCMB. Boi-1da and Noah “40” Shebib provide the silhouette in the background which each rapper uses as a platform to profess their loyalty to those since day one. Drake’s ability to carry the hook and bridge of the song into a memorable club hit really highlights this song as most of the verses were not as memorable. Despite that, No New Friends started out as a certified hit and will continue to be justifiably blasted through speakers throughout the summer.
