Remember when that picture (yes the one on the left) surfaced? Jay-Z and Beyonce enjoying time off in Havana. As simple as it may sound, the backlash he caught over the way he chose to spend his spare time with his wife mirrored an inexperienced swimmer captured by a rip tide. In true Hov fashion, he stepped away from any public apology about hanging out in Cuba and released a song produced by his 1 and 1a producers, Timbaland and Swizz Beatz, clearly stating he’s a “boy from the hood but got White House clearance.” Out of spite he is flooding the streets in a few days.
