Snubnose: Honestly, it was so long ago and I make so many beats. But like at that time we were on a lot of West Coast stuff. The drums in there are “friends homie”(sings melody), I just kind of reversed it cause I wanted to do it like “N**** with a Gun” from the Chronic album. So I just took those drums he used and I kind of reversed it, and then played that line over. And then I played it for them. I actually played it for Key! First, but he didn’t want it and they were in there.
Davey: I was waiting for him to say no.
Light Skin: And I was waiting for him to say naw, I don’t want that bro. And then as soon as he said it, I was like I want that brah.
Snubnose: They scooped it up right away.
