Godzilla has come a long way from the cheesy man-in-a-suit-stomping-on-a-small-model-city that the he started as. It’s been 13 years since the last time we saw Godzilla on the silver screen, with the 1999 film garnishing mostly negative reviews by critics. The new series is looking to revitalize the franchise with director Gareth Edwards along side Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kick-Ass), Elizabeth Olsen, Juilette Bincohe, David Strathaim, and Breaking Bad’s Bryan Cranston. With a talented cast, and a HUGE budget, the ingredients seem just right for the larger-than-life reptile’s return to the big screen.
