When speaking on public transportation with the New York Daily News, Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders had himself quite a blunder when he said “You get a token and you get in.” When told that tokens are not the proper form of entry, he followed that up with “You just jump over the turnstile.” Needless to say, Bernie isn’t too familiar with the New York City subway system. Perhaps looking to one-up Sanders, fellow candidate Hillary Clinton made her own trip to NYC and had her MetroCard in hand to catch the train. She had a bit of trouble as she had to swipe five times for it to work. To her credit, those MetroCards can be uncooperative at times.
