This Nike Air Foamposite One Colorway Proves That Gum Soles Are the GOAT

Few sneakers carry the fan-following of Nike’s Air Foamposite One, with streetball stars and those that just like to floss in the flyest kicks alike all clamoring over the silhouette’s unique structure and ability to look dope in pretty much any colorway. The latest iteration balances things out with a neutral-toned upper and a classic sole colorway that will never go out of style.

The “Midnight Navy” on the synthetic upper is one of those hues that generally looks good with everything, whether it’s a pair of blue jeans or a vibrant pair of joggers. The matte look is a clean approach that we haven’t seen in a while, as most of us are used to the “Silver Surfer” colorways or “Volt” iterations that we’ve seen in the past. However, the real standout is the “Light Brown” gum sole, which has always been the perfect finish for any shoe that utilizes the natural rubber look. The shoe’s signature mainstays are in place throughout, including the 1-Cent Penny Hardaway logos seen on the tongue, heel and toe box. Whether for the court or the club, this is the one to bet on for sure.

Expect the Nike Air Foamposite One “Midnight Navy/Gum Light Brown” to drop on January 19 at select retailers, including Sneaker Politics who provided these dope pics seen here:
