Ben Simmons, Russell Westbrook, Anthony Davis and More Announced as NBA All-Stars

Last week, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, Giannis Antentekuompo and more were named All-Star starters. With the game just a couple of weekends away, the reserves for the midseason extravaganza have been revealed.

Of the Eastern Conference players, Bradley Beal of the Washington Wizards and Ben Simmons of the Philadelphia 76ers were named.

The Western Conference added the likes of the Oklahoma City Thunder’s Russell Westbrook and Anthony Davis who may be on the move from the New Orleans Pelicans to the Los Angeles Lakers.

Snubs included D’Angelo Russell of the Brooklyn Nets, who may be selected due to Victor Oladipo’s injury, Minnesota Timberwolves’ Derrick Rose and Luke Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks.

Next step in the All-Star process, captains James and Antentekuompo will select their teammates for the game on Sunday, February 17 at 7 pm on TNT. The draft will take place next Thursday (Feb. 7) on TNT.

The fields for the three-point contest and slam dunk contest still has a few more announcements. J. Cole, Meek Mill, and Anthony Hamilton have been announced as game day performers.
