Converse has been investing heavily into the brand’s future, particularly through collabs with “all stars” like rapper Tyler, The Creator and Stranger Things actress Millie Bobby Brown, in addition to debuting the new All Star Pro BB silhouette earlier this year. However, the longstanding sportswear imprint is proving that the past is just as important as the present with a new All Star Pack that honors both eras and includes the aforementioned sneaker, the classic Chuck 70, and a special return of the Pro Leather.
While all three are pretty clean overall, it’s the Pro Leather (seen above) that’s expected to be the standout in this trifecta. The shoe, made famous in 1976 by basketball legend Julius “Dr. J” Erving, is billed as being the first to be constructed with full-grain leathers and to feature the classic Star Chevron logo. All three are updated with various sneaker specs that can translate from in-game performance when you’re going hard in the paint to off-court style when all you want to do is stunt. The white and red colorway is consistent throughout, with the Chuck 70 opting for a more off-white look to compliment its canvas upper. Since these make for quite the perfect pairing, you can’t go wrong with picking up any of the three options — actually, just cop the whole set!
