31. “White Dress”
Kanye West
Deemed to be a love letter to Kim Kardashian, “White Dress,” which unfortunately never found its way onto a Kanye West album, was probably the hardest to place on this list. It may be one of Ye’s happiest moments, as he delves into a story of a couple dodging the pitfalls of gossip and prejudice on their way to the church steps, and a great deal of time has passed since we’ve heard West levitate so effortlessly over a soulful beat such as the one graciously provided by Boogz & Tapez. Our only explanation for placing 30 verses over this one is, sometimes good isn’t good enough.
