Kendrick Lamar‘s in an interesting position. Despite going 0-for-Grammys last weekend, there’s no denying that good kid, m.A.A.d. city is one of the best albums of the last 5 years. With one verse last summer Kendrick kept his momentum going, reminding everyone that his work was just beginning. Therefore, in 2014, Kendrick has to back that talk up. GKMC snuck up on everyone, but his sophomore effort–whose recording process has already begun–will have the eyes of everyone in the world from its inception. One slip-up and Drake will have all the ammo he needs. Nothing Was The Same is nearing double-platinum status, so, your move K. Dot.
