Winner: New York Jets
New GM Mike Maccagnan was very aggressive in his spending this off-season, something the Jets lacked the last few years. They picked up all-world cornerback Darelle Revis, along with emerging ex-Brown Buster Skrine, and former Cardinals cornerback Antonio Cromartie to form one of the leagues best defensive backfields for the upcoming 2015 season. This is a team that already has Quinton Coples, Muhammad Wilkerson and Damon “Snacks” Harrison, manning the defensive line. With defensive-genius Todd Bowles running the show in place of former head coach Rex Ryan, things will be scary for AFC East offenses. I didn’t even get to the offense where the Jets also picked up Brandon Marshall, a perennial pro bowl wide receiver for a meager fifth round pick. Things are on the up and up in Gotham City.
