Loser: New York Giants
Although the Giants made a smart choice in picking up running back Shane Vereen, they wasted big money on unproven players. Dwayne Harris was picked up from the Dallas Cowboys on a five year, $17.5m deal with 7.1m in guaranteed money. He’s making more money then Cowboys wide receiver Cole Beasley who Harris backed up. Harris currently has only 418 career receiving yards to his name. The other questionable pickup was linebacker J.T. Thomas. Thomas received a three-year, $10m contract which is first string money. Thomas is a one-year starter with backup player production.
