From his tirades with referees to his inexplicable behavior with teammates (think back to the Shaq/Kobe feud of 2000-01), Kobe Bryant has always been viewed as the one player in the league that despite being an elite talent, was an enigma – or for lack of better words, a diva. Loved and cherished by most, while at the same time coldheartedly disliked by many, Kobe Bryant’s character and persona as a big shot and tyrant among teammates has been well documented. From his selfishness on the court to his outlandish comments towards Shaq’s inability to play “second fiddle” during their championship runs, Kobe’s poor behavior at times nearly eclipsed his superiority on the court.
