2018 has not been the best year for Juelz Santana. When it seemed like the good news was happening with his joint project with Lil Wayne possibly seeing the light of the day a setback occurred when he was arrested after being guilty of bringing a gun and medication into the Newark Liberty International Airport resulting in house arrest and more. Now Bossip shares the Dipset rapper is in need of a mental health evaluation according to the pretrial service officer.
The officer, Jennifer Powers, also believes the rapper needs immediate treatment for mental health issues and it received a same day approval from the presiding judge. The mental condition may be aligned with the third month of house arrest the rapper will be spending at the residence of his mother. For Juelz, house arrest with his mother is likely a better option than what may be facing him in a maximum of 20 years of prison if the case goes to trial.
To refresh your memory, Juelz Santana was getting ready to board a flight in March to head to California when allegedly he realized the gun was in his carry-on bag and he fled the airport. He was supposed to join the rest of the Dipset crew for a tour this summer but will no longer be apart despite receiving approval from the judge.
