Lil Baby is back with new music, this time a song that calls out police brutality. The forthcoming song can be heard in snippets on his Instagram story.
“I find it crazy that police will shoot you and know that you dead, but then tell you to freeze,” he spits on the song. “Fu*ked up, I seen what I seen / I guess that mean hold him down if he say he can’t breathe / There’s too many mothers that’s grieving.”
There is no release date for the song, but Lil Baby is hard at work at making a difference in his home of Atlanta.
On Monday, Lil Baby posted “Stand For Something or Fall For Anything” before revealing he is working alongside Mayor Keisha Bottoms.
“United We Stand Divided We Fall ! In Favor Of Atlanta Mayor @keishabottoms Me And EVERY TEAM I’m associated with are putting a plan together for Atlanta to the whole world,” Lil Baby wrote.
You can check out that post below and be on the lookout for the new song.
Last month, Lil Baby was named the biggest songwriter of the first quarter after racking up 22 certifications. He would then follow that up by dropping the deluxe edition of his My Turn album, which you can hear here.
