2. Young Gattas Vs. Bonnie Godiva
Young Gattas is the queen of battle rap. It’s a title she’s earned over the years, putting in work during a time that was integral for battle rap’s growth. She didn’t just jump on the bandwagon. However, she’s been on something of an absence over the past year or so. Bonnie Godiva on the other hand has emerged as the new it-girl in the battle rap. The title of biggest female battler was definitely at stake here and it’s only logical that the winner take on Jaz the Rapper at URL following her victory over Ms. Hustle. Godiva had strong moments and perhaps even more memorable lines but Gattas’s delivery was just too powerful to be outshined. Gattas is fierce from her cadence and tone to her body language. With the complexity of her bars, Gattas can (and she sometimes does) go toe to toe with top notch male battle rappers. As we see in this battle, when she gets on a roll there’s no stopping her.
