Nas said “Hip Hop is Dead” and to the undead trio from Flatbush, this makes them kings. BetterOffDead is the Flatbush Zombies sophomore effort that displays a more mature sound and spacey production. Eric Arc Elliott crafts some of the spaciest beats, giving the three emcees enough room to display their wild flows. It is an incredibly interesting tape, a sound that can’t be duplicated.
