Under Pressure, Logic‘s 2014 debut, was supposed to be his heralded arrival but didn’t quite live up to its promise. The Incredible True Story sees the DMV native arrive with an improved ear for beats, mixed with a refined knack for storytelling. This helps the title of the album materialize quite nicely, especially on cuts like “Never Been,” where Logic dives into emotional depths he tried reaching with his first LP, but couldn’t quite get to with the pop limitations he’d set on himself. TITS absolutely sets the momentum for Logic’s third effort.
