The celebrated leader of the Barbz has been extremely busy in the last year. From taking selfies to starring in movies to securing just about every kind of brand endorsement, the now self proclaimed King and Queen of New York has one thing left on her list of To-Do to secure both crowns-the music. Even though it won’t be on her next album, a preview of a new track that features one of her many alter egos, Rosa, appeared via an Instagram video. She’s been talking to Vybz Kartel’s team to possibly get a collaboration with either unreleased, previously recorded material or the man himself, depending on how his trial goes. Bu most importantly, she’s described the direction of the album to bring a new sound and delve into a lot more personal topics than she has in her recent guest verses.
